Entrepreneurial Branches

  

The Entrepreneurial branch is designed for advanced participants, with some basic activities serving all levels of participation. This branch increases mastery of skills necessary for success in numerous fields, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial skills are gained through learning, employment, planning, program participation, and more. Programming offers three levels of participation: Level 1-Facilitator, Level 2-Writer, and Level 3-Innovator. Below is a list of possible career opportunities and entrepreneurial fields for successful participants who learn and earn money in this entrepreneurial focused pathway.

Writer: GCI future writers learn a multitude of literacy skills that increase professional success in the field. Various activities and learning opportunities allow students to apply real world techniques and skills to jobs and tasks related to professional writing. Students are trained to be creative and technical, with guidance and mentoring from experienced professionals who rely on advanced writing skills to be successful in their career endeavors.


Writing Related Careers: Marketer, Copy Editor, Business Copy Writer, Grant Writer, Educator, Satirist, Screenwriter, Playwriter, Speechwriter, Editor, Researcher, Journalist, Technical Writer

Innovation Pathways

  

Innovator: The innovators pathway is geared toward technology and creativity as a means of communicating and solving problems. Participants receive numerous opportunities to learn how technology increases efficiency for entrepreneurs and organizations. Participants learn to use various technological tools to complete tasks for marketing, data analysis, and facilitative leadership. Community mentors assist participants with integrating technology into daily activities for learning, research, and problem solving. 


Innovation Related Careers: Graphic Designer, Teacher, Entrepreneur, Advertising Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, Instructional Design, Business Development Manager, Industrial Design, Innovation Coach, Business Analyst, Technical Writer, Database Administrator, Multimedia Specialist

Facilitator Pathways

  

Facilitator: Participants gain scores of hours of experience facilitating learning, meetings, and competitions. Students gain the antecedent skills in our program that will prepare participants for outstanding entry into various fields that require a mastery of facilitative leadership. Participants are required to volunteer for service-related facilitative activities. Outstanding participants are rewarded with financial incentives and other rewards.


Facilitative Related Careers: General Manager, Trainer, Sales Associate, Consultant, Motivational Speaker, Event Planning, Leadership Development Facilitator, Organizational Development, Professional Development, Strategic Planner, Expressive Arts Facilitator, Agile Project Manager, Customer Development Facilitator, Focus Group Facilitator, Webinar Facilitator, Community Engagement, Mediator, Restorative Justice Facilitator
